peaceful place to stay with so much space to run around, fly kites and play Frisbee. the swallow nest with two babies who fledged while we were there was the highlight, and the open air shower and bath was also a winner. thankyou for sharing the quirky caravans with us.

Fantastic space with a lot of equipment to allow a big group to cook. Amazing light space and loved standing in the garden in complete silence looking out over the valley. Amazing.

Ten of us more mature ladies have just returned from three nights at Lambside House…We have had a fabulous time….the house is tucked away, not overlooked, we could walk to the coast path….There was everything we needed at the house, it was clean and enough room for all of us and our many bags ha ha. We were able to light the woodburner and we even managed the wood fired hot tub which was fabulous even in the rain. We would not hesitate to return……

This cottage is a complete gem! The furnishing has been beautifully done, I found myself photographing everything for inspiration at home. The pièce de resistance however was the bathroom, everything I have ever dreamed of, an amazing view from the bath over fields and woodlands (I even watched the sun set through the trees) a fireplace AND A DAY BED!! Utter heaven!! Downstairs there is a very effective log burner, and a brilliant electric cooker that looks and feels like an Aga, only so much easier. The beautiful coastal walks are right on the doorstep, we walked to Mothecombe and after descending into the famous beach we had a delicious lunch at The School House Restaurant. We will definitely come again and stay longer, there was so much more we could have done and the cottage immediately felt like it was our own home!

We had a short weekend in the Beach Hut in mid September . We loved it – everything about it. It is totally isolated and peaceful. The hut is beautifully equipped and cosy. The hot tub is fabulous and when it rains it simply does not matter. The Carswell team were very helpful and friendly . A big part of me did not want to write this review because I know how hard it is already to get a booking here!

What a beautiful place to stay! Very peaceful and quiet yet 5 minutes walk to the coast path and 8 minutes from a secluded sandy beach, great for swimming.

We loved the spacious and light filled kitchen and living room. Also the garden and meadow. The tractor and playhouse were a real hit with the children. It was all very attractive and comfortable.
